WINDHAM - Zachary "Zach" James Macdonald, 27, died unexpectedly on June 29, 2022 at Maine Medical Center. He was born on December 14, 1994 in Portland, ME. He graduated from Windham high school in 2013. He started his journey trying to find his way in life. He began working with Hoodz and ventured off to other places, but always returned to Hoodz and remained until his passing. He adored his fiancé, Kate Cloutier, and was a loving father to his two boys, Ezra, 5 years old and Elijah, 2 years old. He enjoyed spending his weekends with Kate and the boys. Zach was an incredibly gifted artist who loved to draw, play piano, and write music. He loved the outdoors, and skateboarding was a passion that always drew him in. Zachary loved playing in a pool league with his dad. The pool hall and teammates became a second family for Zach. He was loved by so many and his smile alone could light up the room. He had the best goofy sense of humor that made everyone laugh, he was good at that. He was always ready for an adventure. He will be so deeply missed! In addition to his fiancée and sons, Zach is survived by his parents, Brent and Kristi Macdonald; brothers, Caleb and Jaden Macdonald; maternal grandparents, Jack and Dawn York; paternal grandparents, Richard and step-grandmother, Linda and Judith Macdonald; uncle, Doug York, Phil Arena, Daren York, Frank Van Zandt, Ted Ferris, and Steve Colucci; aunts, Lorily York, Melanie Osborne, Sherri Stevens, Valerie Van Zandt, Susan Ferris, and Sandra Macdonald; many great-uncles and great-aunts; lots of cousins and close friends that were our extended family, Harry Fillmore and aunt, Wendy Fillmore; and half-siblings, Blake, Brooklyn, and Wyatt Fillmore.
