Yvonne L. Nadeau, 97, passed away at her residence at Seal Rock in Saco Tuesday, July 19, 2016. She was born in North Conway, NH, the daughter of Walter and Bertha (Meserve) Laroque. Yvonne was raised in Conway, NH and Lovell, ME before moving to Westbrook. She was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy and Becker Junior College in Worcester, MA. She worked at Parkers Dress Shop, was a manager at the Children's Corner, worked in the Coating Department at S.D. Warren, and retired from the Portland Press Herald in 1981. Yvonne was a member of the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church for many years. She loved to dance, playing the piano and was known for her homemade pies and hot fudge sauce. Yvonne's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Nadeau and sister Ursula Watson Jarry. She is survived by a daughter Judy (Roby) Hutchinson of Biddeford; granddaughters Laurie Dallaire and husband Darrell, Julie Rollins and husband Eric, all of Biddeford; great grandchildren Zach and Lindsay Dallaire, and Alexis West; stepchildren Richard Nadeau, Randall Nadeau and their families. Visiting hours will be from 9 to 11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, Friday, July 22, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.
