Yvonne Gallagher, 79, passed away January 1, 2016, peacefully at her home with family by her side. She was born April 13, 1936, in Waldoboro, a daughter of Walter J and Marion (Waltz) Stover. Yvonne grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools. Her passion was her family. She was the twine that kept the family together. She enjoyed her senior citizens trips, bingo, bowling, watching Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and had a passion for Horror Movies. She will be remembered for her kindness, smile, cooking, flower gardens, social personality, and as someone everyone loved. Yvonne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years John Gallagher; children, David Gallagher and his wife Bridget of Windham, Timothy Gallagher and Janet Flaherty of Windham, Catherine Wardwell and her husband William of Windham, Suzanne Ferrari of Windham, and James Gallagher and his wife Alison of Falmouth; brothers, Donald Toms and his wife Dana of Windham, and Robert Stover of Appleton; sister, Marilyn Erickson and her husband Chuck of Windham; grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan, Maura, Shannah, Alanna, Colin, Nicole, Erin, William II, Wendy, Dominic, Isaac, Amara, and Lauren – Yvonne; great grandchildren, Logan, Ian, Lily, Ava, and Emily; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held 5:00PM – 7:00PM Thursday January 7, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel 434 River Road, Windham.
