February 15, 1922 – December 3, 2014 Yvette Marie LeBorgne Yvette resided at Ledgewood Manor in Windham for two years and passed away at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born Yvette Marie Labrecque in Berlin NH to Albert and Marie [Taillon] Labrecque and was one of 13 children. She married Jean Charles LeBorgne June 22, 1946 at St. Ann's Church in Berlin. They made their home in Westbrook ME and had seven children. Yvette was a wonderful mother, homemaker, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved cooking, baking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, bingo, playing cards and games, visiting and receiving family, and her summers at Nason's Beach, Sebago Lake, for many years. She loved to sing with her sisters and also played the piano. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband on June 21, 1990 and baby Norman on April 27, 1961, two son-in-laws: David Gardner [1994] and Stephen Neff [2012]; sisters Rose Lambert, Alice Turcotte, Rita Abbott, Ida Hamacek and brothers Gerard, Rosaire, and Leo Labrecque. Yvette is survived by her children: Doris Gardner, Robert LeBorgne [wife Esther], Theresa Neff, Gerard LeBorgne [wife Michelle], Jeanne Marsters [husband Greg], and Albert LeBorgne [wife Joanna]. She was also blessed with 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren Also surviving are siblings Beatrice Auger, Theresa Bouchard, Jeanne Cloutier, Pauline Brelsford, and Norman Labrecque, numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and in-laws. The family wishes to thank the Ladies of St. Anne of the Parish of St. Anthony of Padua in Westbrook who always brought her Christmas and Valentine gifts, sent cards, and to those who brought her communion. Also thanks to the many people who cared for her in the last few years at hospitals, assisted living, nursing home, and hospice care. In lieu of flowers, donations welcome at Ledgewood Manor or Gosnell. A Visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 AM Saturday, Dec. 6, followed by a memorial service at 11 AM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., in Westbrook ME followed by a memorial service at 11 AM . There will be no burial service.
