William D. Stanley, 52, of  Robyn Ave., Westbrook, died unexpectedly Thursday Dec. 6, in Standish. He was born in Springvale, the son of Ralph and Eleanor Tarbox Stanley. Billy was a 1978 graduate of Deering High School. He was employed as a truck driver for several local companies. Family was very important to Billy. He was a devoted father, son and a loving brother. He enjoyed music and was an avid hunter. He was predeceased by his father Ralph in 2003. He is survived by his mother Eleanor Stanley of Westbrook, 2 sons Cory and Shane and daughter Lindsay Stanley all of Ft. Kent, brothers Jim Buzzell of Westbrook, Clyde Stanley of TX., David Stanley of Scarborough, Donny Stanley of Westbrook, sisters Judy Weeks of Portland, Donna Ricci of Portland, Kathy Leary of Westbrook, Joyce Duval of Manchester, N.H., girlfriend Tina Dippolitto of Standish and her 5 children. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. Funeral Services will take place at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
