William (Bill) D. Campbell, 76, of Liza Harmon Dr., Westbrook, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Gosnell Hospice Home in Scarborough . He was born on Sept. 2, 1935 in Trescott, Maine the son of Don and Evelyn (Moores) Campbell.  He worked for Noyes Tire Co. for many years and later at Pratt & Whitney before retiring. Bill was an avid Red Sox fan , enjoyed playing cards, slot machines, and really enjoyed socializing with people. He was predeceased by seven sisters and a brother. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley (Denbow) Campbell of Westbrook; a daughter Teresa Lynn Warren of Golden Meadow, LA; sons William E. Campbell of Portland and David W. Campbell of Windham; grandchildren Torrie Ottinger and husband Alexander, Chasity Morey and husband Wayne, Joshua Campbell, Amanda Campbell,  Kayla Clifford, Alexandria Clifford, and his special baby Sabrina Campbell; eight great grandchildren; a sister-in-law Debbie Walsh Bianco and husband Ken; a brother-in-law Dougie Denbow and wife Mona; three special aunts Etta, Lois, and Avis; and a very special friend Joanie Little.
