William W. "Bill " , Anderson 69, passed away May 26, 2023 at home. He was born October 5, 1953, the son of the late John N. Anderson and Eileen Wagner Anderson. Bill graduated from Deering High School, class of 1972. He married the love of his life, Marcia Chapman and settled in Standish. They celebrated 50 years of marriage last year. He started out working in the printing industry and retired from RSVP Publishing Co. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends but his passion was playing bass guitar in many local bands from Rock "n " Roll to Country music. Bill was also an avid dog lover. Bill was a very kind, gentle, respectful, and supportive soul with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed a simple life with nothing more than his family and friends surrounding him. Besides his wife Marcia he leaves behind two sons, Jaimey W. Anderson, and Michael W. Anderson , son in law Chris Mace, brother Richard C. Anderson, and sister Lynne Logan, many close cousins, nieces and nephews, along with many wonderful friends. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, June 25 at noon in the Sebago Lake Room at the Standish Town Hall.
