Warren "Phil" Esty, 86 of Westbrook passed away Tuesday June 4, 2013 peacefully at his home surrounded by his friends and family. Phil was born January 18, 1927 son of Blanche and Hiram Esty, and spent his entire life in the state of Maine. He spent the last 12 years living in a residence with Community Partners. During the past 12 years, Phil had been involved with the Senior Enrichment Center in Portland, as well as bell ringing for the Salvation Army every holiday season. Phil enjoyed attending Thursday night Thunder at Beech Ridge Motor speed way and car shows in the summer. He enjoyed many scenic rides and picking up an Amato's Italian on the way home. Phil is survived by many friends who love him and will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his life long friend Ann Bittner of Westbrook.
