Virginia L. Harrison, 97 of Poland Maine passed away peacefully on November 22, 2017. Virginia was born in Portland Maine on June 22, 1920. Virginia was a wonderful caretaker, taking care of her friends and family. She was a Sunday school teacher and enjoyed being with children. She enjoyed going to the fair and the wonderful fair food. Going for rides and eating out on the weekends. Cooking, baking and helping out in the kitchen. She loved her great grandchildren. She loved Angel and Jango, her favorite cat and dog. She loved her family, she loved her friends, and she loved life itself. Virginia is survived by her nephews Clarence & Thomas Wildes, her grandsons Chester & Raymond Warren & wife Jodie, her great grandson & granddaughters, and a great-great granddaughter, along with all her great nieces and nephews, and the rest of all her relatives and friends. Virginia was preceded by her parents Clara (Pearson) & Thomas Harrison; her brothers Raymond & Thomas Harrison; her sister Dorothy (Harrison) Wildes & her husband Clarence Wildes, as well as, her daughter Darlene Warren (Joy) & her husband Chester Warren Sr., and great granddaughter Nicole Chabot. The family of Virginia wishes to thank the staff at Androscoggin Hospice Care & Hospice in Auburn Maine. An hour of visitation will be held from 11:00AM - 12:00PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00PM, Thursday November 30, at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee 35 Church Street, Westbrook. Burial will follow at Forest City Cemetery, South Portland
