GORHAM - Troy A. Sollenberger, 50, of Gorham. ME. died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME. He was born in Nashua, N.H. on July 16, 1967, the son of Glenn H. and Miriam C. (Cox) Sollenberger. Troy worked as a Master Electrician holding licenses in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Maine. He had only recently moved from New Hampshire to Maine to become the Electrical Inspector for the City of South Portland. After completing high school in Nashua, N.H. he attended The Hallmark Institute of Photography in Turner Falls, MA. Besides photography, he enjoyed working with his hands in leather crafting and woodworking. He also enjoyed outdoor sports including hunting and fishing. He was a past officer of the Pulpit Rock Lodge in Pelham, NH. Troy is survived by his domestic partner, Robin Delano of Gorham, ME; his father Glenn Sollenberger of Nashua, N.H.; his brother Keith Sollenberger of Nashua, N.H.; and his niece Aspen Sollenberger of Colorado Springs, CO. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to make a donation to their local humane society.
