Obituary

Timothy John Foley,75, loving father, step-father, bampy, and devoted husband of the late Audrey Susan Foley, entered into the eternal peace on February 14, 2025 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after medical complications from a stroke. He passed peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Timothy was born on August 4, 1949, to Edward and Eleanor (Jones) Foley in Portland, ME. After graduating from Gorham High School in 1967 he was drafted into the army. He served in the Vietnam War. Tim worked at American Steel for many years. He worked with his brother Mike, and the rest of the coworkers there became his work family for life. You would always see Tim wearing an American Steel sweatshirt within his many layers of clothing he wore daily. He enjoyed seasonal camping at Wassamki Springs Campground, fishing, ice fishing, and hunting with his family and friends. He was passionate about Elvis, Dale Earnhardt, his Forest Street neighborhood friends, and John Wayne westerns. Anyone who knew Foley knew that he was the most loving father, step-father, bampy, and husband a famity could ask for. He was predeceased by his father, Edward; Mother, Eleanor; brother, Mike; sister, Gail; wife, Audrey. He is survived by his first wife Robin; son, Christopher and his wife Lisa; step-daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Erik Clark; his step-son Norman Berry and his wife Robyn; as well as all his nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids. There will visitation at Dolby, Blais, Segee Funeral Home, 35 Church St., in Westbrook ME on Saturday April 5, 2025 from 9-10:30am, and a celebration of life at the Stockhouse in Westbrook immediately following committal at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland.
