WESTBROOK - Thomas Allan Grant, 67, of Westbrook went home to God peacefully on August 21, 2022 surrounded by all of the angels on Earth at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born on June 20, 1955 to L.A. Grant and Carolyn (LaBay) Grant in Charleston, South Carolina. He Served his God, Parents, Country, Many Cities, Towns, Counties as a Certified Law Enforcement Officer – Deputy Sherriff. Worked in all capacities to serve, protect all, as sworn to do, under the Constitution of the United States of America from 1960 – 2004. My final achievements were accomplished in my last 20 years. All from 1974 – 2004, some 30 years totally disabled as stated by, United States Air Force, by the Veterans Administration. To all, "I never took a life, never hurt any citizen, in my sworn duties." Surviving are my only daughter, Michelle Theriault and her husband, Chris; and grandsons, William and Dylan all of Poland. Visiting hours will be 11:00am - 1:00pm on Friday, September 9, 2022 when committal prayers will begin at 1:00pm at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street. Burial with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Avenue, Portland.
