HOLLIS - Therese F. Annis, 78, passed away on March 30, 2022 surrounded by her daughter and grandchildren. She was born on April 27, 1943 a daughter to Eugene and Gabrielle Fredette Therese graduated from Westbrook High School. She married William G. Annis and a year later their daughter was born. She left Maine with their 3-month old daughter to join her husband in England where he was stationed. That was the start of military life for 20 years. After retirement, they bought a home in Hollis. She volunteered at the Hollis Rec, taught painting to children, also worked the Election Poles at the Hollis Town Hall. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, William G. Annis. She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Christine Kierstead; grandchildren, Adam, Devon, Catrina, Amanda, Jeffrey, Jess and Skye Kierstead; great-grandchildren, Isaac Kierstead and Lilith Zernicke Kierstead. She had a tight circle of friends who looked out for her and her little dog, Twinkle. Many mentioned her smile and laughter will be missed and her love of her family. She was laid to rest with her husband, at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
