Theresa H. McLaughlin, 93, of Revere St., Portland, passed away Thursday, July 20, at her home with her family by her side. She was born in Scarborough, the daughter of Joseph and Armandine (Forest) Turgeon. Theresa worked at the S.D. Warren Paper Co for 42 years, retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church, and a member of the Westbrook and Scarborough Senior Citizens. She also enjoyed doing volunteer work at Springbrook Nursing Home and Preble Street Resource Center. Theresa found great joy spending time with her family after her retirement, especially her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Waldo in 1968; her brother Bert Turgeon; and sisters Connie Labrecque, Jeannette Gagnon, Irene Parsons, Madeline Reid, Germaine Ruel, and Pauline Metcalf. She is survived by her sons Dennis and wife Lee AnnMcLaughlin of Portland, and Ralph McLaughlin of Buxton; grandchildren Lyndsey, Dany, and Maria McLaughlin; and a great grandson Kaiden James Crocket. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM Friday, July 28, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, followed by a memorial service at 11AM.
