Windham - Teresa (Terry) Lynn Scott, 57, a long-time resident of Windham, died Saturday, June 4th peacefully at her home following a long illness. Born on November 18, 1957 in Portland, Maine to Constance (Connie Porter) Scott and Darrel W. Scott. She grew up in South Portland, attended local schools and is a 1976 graduate of South Portland High School. Terry worked for many years in the hospitality industry including DiMillo's Floating Restaurant in Portland, Charlie Beig's in Windham, and Rick's Cafe in Naples. When her son, Nickolas was born, Terry ran a daycare from her home for over a year. Terry was a sports enthusiast, especially a fan of NASCAR and football. She hosted parties that included games, good food, music and laughter. Terry enjoyed gardening, camping and being on the water. She is survived by her son Nickolas R. LaBrecque of Windham, three sisters, Robyn (Scott) LeClair of Standish, Brenda (Scott) Mariner of Auburn, Sandra (Scott) Summerson of York, four nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Stormy and Sailor. She is predeceased by her parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts. The family would like to thank the medical teams at Maine Medical Center, Seaside Rehabilitation in Portland and Pine Point Rehabilitation in Scarborough for their expert care. Private services will be held at a later date.
