Westbrook – Susan M. Bryant, 56, of East Bridge St., passed away Friday Feb. 1, at her home, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Southington, CT., the daughter of John and Miriam P. Eldridge Maynard. She was raised and educated in Portland and was a graduate of Deering High School. Susan owned and operated a day care for several years and later assisted her husband Phil in his cleaning and D.J. businesses, she was also an amazing cake baker. She was predeceased by her mother and sister Irene Landry. She is survived by her step father Camillo Aceto, her husband Philip Bryant, sons Joshua Stephen Robbins of Westbrook, Wade Bryant of South Portland, daughters Kelly Anne McDougal of Westbrook, Lisa Marie Donahue of Scarborough and Tara Bryant of Westbrook, 7 grandchildren Jalissa Bryant, Dakota, Michael, Jennifer, Farrah Donahue and Molly Bryant, brothers Rick Sukeforth of Windham, David Sukeforth of MD., Michael Aceto of Gorham, Joseph and John Aceto both of Windham, sisters Marion Allen of Westbrook, Catherine Bradley of Bridgton, Camilla Gutenberger of VA. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 5 p.m until the start of the Memorial Services at 7 p.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. Susan always told her grandchildren and everyone she knew;" If you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all" and If you ever misplace something, do a Susan look !!!
