Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan " Sue" M. Robinson, on December 11, 2020 at the age of 71. Born in Portland Maine on March 30th 1949, she was the daughter of Robert and Anne Gossom. She graduated from Yarmouth High school in 1967. Throughout her life, Sue made it her mission to make others smile and feel special, even if that someone was a complete stranger. Often, Sue would drop off small gifts for those she encountered throughout her days, simply to make them smile. She never met anyone she could not make a friend out of; if there was ever a time she needed to wait in line, by the time she was done, she was friends with everyone around her. There was something special in the way that she connected with people. Sue also loved nothing more than to dote on her daughters and grandchildren, often coming home from "quick trips to the store" with something to gift for no reason other than just because. Sue was not a woman who took "no" very seriously, rarely letting things she "shouldn't" do hold her back. In recent years, Sue faced numerous mobility challenges, but she never let them bring her down or stop her from having fun, always with a smile on her face. It is difficult to convey just how special of a woman she was with words alone, but if you were one of the lucky ones to have met her, you already know. Sue is survived by a loving family comprised of her husband of 30 years, Paul Robinson, her four daughters Beth Rockwell and husband Tim, Beverly Edwards and Husband Shawn, Katy Ford and Husband Chris, and Karissa Robinson. Sue is also survived by her sisters Lillian Robbins and Cindy Gossom, as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren who she loved very much. Visiting hours for Susan will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Windham Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee with a burial at a later date in the Spring.
