Gorham,   Susan N. Keene, 58, of Patio Park Lane, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Home in Scarborough.  She showed strength and courage each day of her short battle with cancer.  She was born in Portland and raised in Westbrook, the daughter of Norman and Dorothy (Edgerley) Keene. Susan graduated from Westbrook High School in 1976. She worked for several years at the Portland Dry Cleaners and currently for Pratt Abbott. Susan loved the outdoors, and had a passion for helping animals and people in need. She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather Dorothy and Norman Martin. She is survived by her father and stepmother Norman and Carlene Keene of Oxford; her sisters Elaine Libby of Standish, and Kathie Martin of Biddeford; and a niece Marie Meserve of Bridgton. A time of visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 AM Saturday followed by a memorial service at 11:30 AM at Blais & Hay Funeral home, 35 Church St., Westbrook.
