Topsham & North Carolina, Steven Matthew Milliken, 43, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2016. He was born on January 5, 1973 in Portland and grew up in Westbrook through Junior High. He moved to Topsham with his family and graduated from Mt. Ararat and went 2 years to Unity College, and was involved with conservation corp. under George Mitchell (prior Senator of ME). He married Ami Jaques in 2009 and moved to Ashville, North Carolina where they built a home thru Habitat. He loved spending time with his children, loved the Red Sox and enjoyed cooking. He was predeceased by his father in law, Edward Jaques. He is survived by his wife Ami, children, Emmalynn, Brayden, Fletcher, Jordon, and Sierra Kohler. His parents, Penny and Sherman Milliken, his mother in law, Nancy Netherland, his twin brother, Shawn Michael, his sister, Sarah Wezowicz and her husband Joel, his niece Adia and was predeceased by his nephew Elias; a brother in law John Jaques and his wife Shana, and a sister in law Sharon Bell and nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins. A visiting hour will be held on Friday, June 17th from 10 to 11, where a service will follow at 11:00 am at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook. Interment will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery. After the interment a gathering for Steven will be held at Stockhouse, 506 Main St. Westbrook.
