FRANKLIN, MA—Stephen C. Larson, 70, passed away in Boston, MA on June 25, 2018. He was born July 30, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, a son of Carl and Clara (Turlington) Larson. He grew up in Maryland and was a graduate of Severna Park High School. Upon graduation, he enlisted with the United States Navy, proudly serving two tours in Vietnam. While in the Navy, Stephen received the nickname "Big Al" a nickname that stuck throughout his life. On September 14, 1974, he married Joanne Bourassa in Westbrook, Maine. He worked as a truck driver for various companies and spent his last ten years working as a Trolley Tour Conductor in Boston. In his younger years, Stephen enjoyed golfing and fishing. Stephen will be remembered for his friendly and outgoing personality and for being a loving husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Joanne Larson; a son, Matthew Larson and his wife, Janine; grandchildren Daniel and Henry Larson; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings. Visitation will be held from 10:30am to 11:30am on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 35 Church St., Westbrook, ME 04092, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30am. Burial will take place Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 2pm at St. Hyacinth Cemetery, Stroudwater St., Westbrook.
