Shirley R. Lally, 87, formerly of Westbrook and Gorham, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Seaside Nursing Home with her family be her side. She was born and raised in Westbrook, the daughter of Joseph and Rita (Nadeau) Prince. Shirley worked at S.D. Warren Paper Co for 33 years before retiring. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of the St. Hyacinth Historical Club. She was also a member of the Westbrook Historical Society, the Westbrook Senior Citizens, the Irish American Club, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Animal Refuge League. She was predeceased by her husband Frances Lally, and a granddaughter Sarah Liberty. She is survived by a son Michael Lally and wife Lisa of Auburn; daughter Patricia Murchie and husband John of Westbrook; a brother Archie Prince  of Florida; a sister Dorothy McRae and husband Frank of Florida; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
