Sherrill M. Cressman, lovingly known as Sherry, passed away on October 9, 2026, in Loganville, Georgia. She was born on May 3, 1939, in Porter, Maine, the daughter of Ira and Gwendolyn Clark.
Sherry was raised in Maine and attended local area schools in Cornish. She graduated from Cornish High and Sacopee Valley High School. Throughout her life, she was devoted above all to her family, embracing the roles of wife and mother with deep love and steady care. A dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, she truly enjoyed taking care of her family, and that devotion shaped the life she lived each day.
She also found happiness in the simple and meaningful pleasures of home. Sherry enjoyed crafts and sewing, pursuits that reflected her creativity and care. She also took special joy in tending to her flowerbeds, where her patient attention and love of beauty could be seen in full bloom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cressman; her sons, Adron Baughman and Brian Baughman; and by her parents, Ira and Gwendolyn Clark.
Sherry is survived by her children, Leisha Dicenso, Kevin Baughman and his wife Lisa, Kendra Clement, and Shanna Ross and her husband Bryan. She is also survived by her sister, Suzanne Hume, and by her brother, Reggie Clark and his wife Dawn. In each of them, and in the family she cared for so faithfully, her love and example will continue to live on.
Sherry will be remembered for the warmth she gave so freely, for the care she poured into her home and family, and for the quiet, lasting ways she made life more beautiful for those around her. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life on Monday, Nov. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Home, 434 River Rd., Windham.
