Sheila May Pepper, 81, died Thursday July 5, 2018, at St. Joseph's Rehab in Portland. She was born December 12, 1936, in Lincolnshire, England, a daughter of Walter A. and Eilean (Wattts) Taylor. Sheila grew up in England and immigrated to the United States in the early 60's eventually settling in Maine. While in England she was a member of the Royal Culinary Staff and proudly baked for the Queen. In Maine she enjoyed a variety of careers with Barber Foods, National Semi Conductor, and eventually retired from L.L. Bean. Sheila was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her children, Melanie Pepper and her Fiancé Peter Land of Westbrook, and Gregory Pepper of California; and a brother Ted Taylor of England. A memorial service will be held 10:00AM Saturday July 14, at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church Street, Westbrook.
