Obituary

GRAY - Sharon Louise Hubbard, age 78, passed away on November 26, 2024, at her home in Gray. She was born May 29, 1946, in Portland, the daughter of the late Elwood and Williamina "Bunty" Webster. Sharon graduated from Gorham High School, class of 1964. After graduating, she married James C. "Jim" Hubbard, Jr. in 1965. They made their home in North Gorham, had two daughters, and moved to Northfield, Minnesota. Sharon worked for College City Beverage, the Hubbard family business, until returning home to Maine in 1980. Sharon enjoyed camping, knitting, country music, and dancing. For many years, she would be at Harmony Hall every Saturday night to enjoy the many bands from around Maine. There, she met her life companion of 35 years, Reginald "Reggie" St. Pierre. Sharon and Reggie resided in Maplewood Park in Gray. There, they enjoyed having family and friends over for cookouts, especially around the holidays. She also enjoyed making special treats and bringing them to the firefighters of the Gray Fire Department. Sharon is survived by life companion Reggie St. Pierre, her children, Wendy Martin and her husband, Bob of Mechanic Falls; Sandra Fickett and her husband Mike of New Gloucester; grandchildren Christopher Noble and his wife Liz of Gray, Rebecca Noble of Milton, NH; and great-grandchildren Destyni Noble and Jayden Noble both residing in Gray and Nora Feyler of Milton, NH; and Reggie's children, Jodi Morse and husband Jay of Otisfield, Mandy King and husband George of Mechanic Falls; Misty Gallant and husband Scott of Gray, Heather Norton and husband Luke, Debbie Gurney and husband John in Nevada and many grand kids and great grand kids. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Arthur "Butch" Webster, and his wife, Arlene Webster, and Reggie's son Reginald "Reggie" St. Pierre, Jr. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 15th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the New Gloucester Fraternal Order of Eagles, 354 Sabbathday Rd, New Gloucester, ME. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations in Sharon's name to the Gray Fire Department. Donations can be mailed to the Gray Fire Department, 125 Shaker Rd, Gray, ME 04039. Please ensure to mention the donation is in remembrance of Sharon Hubbard.
