It is with great sadness to say that our husband, father, and friend Seth Gagnon unexpectedly passed away on the morning of Thursday, April 25th 2024 when heaven opened its gates and gained another angel. Seth P. Gagnon, was born August 24th 1981, in Cumberland County Maine. Seth, my husband, was truly the most amazing, giving, and loving person I have ever met. He truly was my soulmate and best friend and life without him seems unbearable at this time. Seth and I shared every aspect of our lives together; from online passwords to bank accounts. He "gave" me 3 amazing step-kids whom I have considered my own since the day Seth introduced me and my son to them. Seth meant a lot to us; his wife and kids, to his friends, to his customers, and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him...he was a gift to many who knew him. Despite his prior battles with addiction and sobriety in his younger years; he overcame and built himself up to be the best man, father, and husband he could be. He overcame his demons at that time and was one of the original founders of an addiction recovery support group called Climb 4 Recovery. He worked hard to establish his home business; SG Mechanical and made it a well respected and reputable name. Seth took great pride in his work and taking care of his customers and was one of the most dedicated and hard working people I know. He was a mentor to many in the HVAC field that he was so extremely knowledgeable and prideful of. He acquired and held several plumbing, heating, and HVAC licenses and certificates within several states . He thrived on working hard all the time as that allowed him to provide for his family; which also made him proud and brought him great joy to know that he was taking care of the ones he loved and cherished most. After 6+ years of sobriety and loving and enjoying his life to the fullest he unfortunately had a moment of weakness and his demons took over and he lost his battle with addiction and sobriety. He truly was our everything and the loss of our dear loved one seems unbearable. He will be missed beyond any words could ever describe. At this time there will be no funeral or visitation services as Seth would not want to be the center of attention or in the direct limelight. In time; as our hearts heal, the kids and I would like to have a celebration of life in the spring or summer; his favorite time of year. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family and expenses would be appreciated and can be made through a GoFundMe set up for The Family of Seth Gagnon
