Portland- Sarah Teresa Savage, 76, of Falmouth, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Portland. The daughter of George and Margaret (Zealy) Maull, she was born in Charleston South Carolina on March 3, 1941. She grew up in Charleston. She met Lynn L. Savage Sr. and they were married and had their son Lynn L. Savage Jr. Lynn was in the military so they lived at several military bases until Lynn convinced Sarah to move temporarily to Maine. She often mentioned that it was only supposed to be temporary, especially when the snow began to fly. After moving to Maine, they had their four daughters Andrea, Laura, Mary, and Dawn. They settled in Westbrook where they raised their family. Sarah loved animals, and had a special love for her cats and her dog named Ginger. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching "Days of Our Lives", going out in her car, and spending time with friends and family. She is survived by her son Lynn Savage, and his wife Colleen, of New Gloucester, her daughters, Andrea Winship, Laura Preston, Mary Savage, and Dawn Savage, all of Westbrook, 9 grandchildren, and one great grandchild on the way. She is also survived by her sister Betty White, of South Carolina. A celebration of Sarah's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Dolby, Blais & Segee, Windham Chapel.
