Westbrook, Sarah Belle Gibson, 81, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2014 at Springbrook Nursing Home.  Sarah was born on January 4, 1933 in Perryopolis, PA., the daughter of Harry E. Lynn and Mary F. Nutt. Sarah graduated in 1952 at Perry Township High School.  She entered the Air Force in 1952 as a Nurse Aid where she met her husband who was also in the Air Force and were married for 59 years.  They traveled and raised their family during these years. After the service she worked as a CNA and Med Tech for Portland Nursing Homes for 17 years.  After retirement they settled in the Portland Area.   Sarah was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph H, Claude D, Warren H and a sister Kathleen M.   She is survived by her Husband William C. Gibson, Children, Paul M. Gibson and spouse Lorraine of Gorham, Lynne A Henderson and spouse Joe of Standish, Bonnie S Pearlman and spouse Aaron of Great Mills, Maryland, and Lisa M Mynahan and spouse Gary of Cumberland Center.  8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Granchildren. Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday, July 12  from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 10:00 AM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook.  Interment will be immediately after at Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook.
