Westbrook – Sandra Louise Grindle, 60,of Longfellow Dr., passed away Thursday Oct. 25, at the Springbrook Health Care Center, with her family by her side. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Robert and Georgia A. MacBeth Tileston. She was raised and educated in Presque Isle. Sandra was a CNA and was employed by several Heath Care Facilities. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida to visit her brother. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Marilyn. She is survived by her husband John, sons Steven and wife Melissa, Shawn and a daughter Wendy and husband David, all of Portland, 2 brothers E. Burton and wife Corky of Florida and Dean and wife Maggie of Scarborough, sister Penny and husband Brian of Nashua, NH., step father Jake Small, special niece Heather and several other nieces and nephews and special dogs Bailey and Bonnie. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday Oct. 31, at 11:00 a.m. at the Blais & Hay Funeral Home 35 Church St. Westbrook. Interment will follow in Brooklawn Cemetery.
