Obituary

Sandra M. Theriault January 27th 1966-December 1st 2024 It is with profound sadness that our family must announce that our beloved wife, mother and grandma passed away on December 1st 2024 with her family by her side after a very brief and aggressive cancer battle. Sandy was born in Massachusetts. As a military brat she moved around often. At the age of 21 she lived in Virginia and met the love of her life Ronnie. From the moment they met it was them against the world. They moved from Virginia after having their first child to New York where they had their second child. They very soon after that settled in Maine and as a team they raised their two daughters together. They built their family and their home working hard and standing by each other through everything life threw at them. They have a love for each other that has always been and will always be admired. She was a wonderful mother to her daughters as well as a best friend to them into their adult lives. She was always there when they needed her. She became a grandma when she was 41. She became a pillar for all 5 of her grandchildren as well. A very involved grandma, she was there to guide them, give them advice, love them and play with them. From the moment they were born she was a huge influence in their lives. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband, singing karaoke with her girls, playing pool, watching Christmas movies, sea turtles and the smell of honeysuckle. She loved making slideshows for her family and friends. She loved to make them laugh, make them smile and help them cherish their memories. She was so good at it too. Sandy worked at Unum for many years and staying in the field after that she worked at The Hartford. She was very passionate about her work as well as every aspect in her life but none more than her family. Sandy was a very strong, beautiful, smart, kind, charismatic person with a great sense of humor and incredible knack for sarcasm. She was as stubborn and opiniated as could be sometimes. She could tell you like it was if she needed to and always did so with intent. But no matter what always and everyday she deeply cared for and appreciated her family and close friends. Sandy was cherished by all that knew and loved her and was the rock of her family. This is an unbearably devastating loss for all of us. She will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband Ron, her two daughters Patience and Tiffany, her 2 sons-in-law Joseph and Conrad, her 5 grandchildren Savannah, Lily, Charlotte, Colton and Jaxon, her parents Susan and James, her brothers Jimmy and Danny, her sister in law Chris and her niece Sara. As per her request there will not be a funeral. We will be having a Celebration of Life for her at the Windham Eagles Club 456 Roosevelt Trail, Windham Maine on January 26th 2025 the day before her 59th birthday starting at 1pm. We love you and miss you more than words can describe Mama, R.I.P until we meet again.
