WINDHAM – Ryan Alexander Dufour, 33, of Windham died on Monday August 28, 2017, as a result of an overdose following a long struggle with addiction. He was born May 1, 1984, at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, Maine. Ryan loved to laugh and had an infectious smile: he was everyone's friend. Family meant the world to him and he loved to be at family gatherings. He especially adored his two children, Alex and Payson. They were his world. Ryan grew up in Auburn and Windham and graduated from Windham High School, Class of 2002. For many years after graduation, Ryan worked at Pepsi Bottling Group and later on at Sysco. In 2014 Ryan moved to North Carolina with his wife and his children. During this time he worked at Mabe Trucking and DB Schenker. He returned to Maine in 2016 and worked at Almighty Waste and Pine State Beverage. He was most recently employed by Walmart. Ryan is survived by his wife, Audrey Jones Dufour, his son, Alexander Dufour, his daughter, Payson Dufour, all of Greensboro, NC; , and his parents, Erlene LeBorgne and her husband, David LeBorgne of Windham, ME. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was especially close to cousins Jeremy Barnies and Lacey Barnies of Auburn, ME, who were more like his siblings. Ryan was predeceased by his father, Roger B. Dufour; maternal grandparents Ray and Brenda Garza; paternal grandparents Wally and Emilia Dufour and grandparents Raymond and Rita LeBorgne. Visiting hours for Ryan will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at BLAIS AND HAY FUNERAL HOME, 35 Church St., Westbrook, ME 04092 from 2pm to 4pm with a funeral service starting at 4pm.
