Standish – Ruth “Pat” Curtis, 77, of standish, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 4, 1949, the daughter of John and Ruth (Phillips) Link. She attended the Institute of Notre Dame in Baltimore and then worked for London Town before moving to Maine in 1970.

In the Mid Seventies she met her husband Brian, with whom she spent 48 years together until his passing in 2023. Ruth worked for Unitrode for several years before their closing. After she became a caregiver for many family members and friends.

Ruth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post # 128. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Ruth is survived by her sons Eric Curtis and Aaron Curtis, daughter Romy McMann and her husband Michael, grandchildren Joshua and his wife Shelby, Robert and his partner Katelyn, Shania, Daniel and Lexi, and great grand children Malcolm and Lochlynn. She was predeceased by her parents John and Ruth, her husband Brian, and sister Marie Link.
