On October 12, 2025 God accepted Rose Mary Burke into the gates of Heaven. Rose was born in Portland on February 2, 1942 to Idella E. and Robert L. Bouchard Sr. 

Rose grew up in the City of Portland. After Graduating from Deering High School she attended the University of Southern Maine. After her schooling she pursued a lengthy career with Casco Northern Bank and became the vice president of the trust department. After leaving the bank she worked with several other companies, with the last being the Windham Correctional Center before retiring during the 90’s.

In 1995 Rose married Foster E. Burke and they shared 30 years together. They lived in Topsham for several years until she moved back to Windham in 1998 to care for her mother until 2000. Rose resided in Windham up until her passing.

Rose and Foster never had children. Rose is survived by her two brothers; Robert Bouchard Jr. and his wife Mary of Windham, and Ronald Bouchard and his partner Jackie Powell of Windham; niece, Melissa Bailey and her husband Kevin, and their two daughters Cassidy and Aubrey, all of Windham; niece Kimberly Atkinson and her husband Bill, and their two boys Liam and Nathan of Essex VT; nephews, Keith Bouchard of Westbrook and Kyle Bouchard of Bangor; cousins, Doug, Phyllis, Jean, Sandy, Bill and their families from the Greater Portland area.

The family would like to thank neighbors - the Cassidy’s for being like family to Rose and Foster over the years and taking best interest for them during the golden years.

In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to the Windham Fire and Rescue and the Windham Police Dept ACO Jackie Frye.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday June 27, 2026 at Mayberry Cemetery, Park Road, Windham, ME 04062.
