Marie Rosalie Biskup, 74, of Gorham, ME., passed away peacefully, Aug 2, 2017, at the Gosnell Hospice Home with her family by her side. She was born in Portland, the daughter of Jim (Ignatius) and Yvonne Richard Biskup. She received her degree from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. Rosalie retired from Verizon Telephone Co after many years of a successful career . She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Westbrook and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. Rosalie enjoyed many activities, but her greatest joy was spending time in the company of family and friends. She is survived by the daughter of her heart, Betsy Lande of Gorham; a brother Rick Biskup of Freeport; her sisters Pauline Dickson of Portland and Diane White of Gorham; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held August 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Bible Church, 74 Deering Road in Gorham. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Gosnell House of Scarborough, Mercy Hospital of Portland or Gorham Emergency Medical Services, in recognition of the loving care provided to Rosalie.
