Obituary

Ronald W. Morris, 80, of Limington, Maine, returned home to the Lord peacefully on October 2, 2026. Born August 1, 1946, to Leon and Shirley (Merrifield) Morris.

Ron spent his early years raising hell in Bath, Maine. He gave four years of his life to the Navy, serving aboard the USS Myles C. Fox during the Vietnam War. Ron later became a master plumber, operating his own business for decades while never truly retiring.

Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting, boating, snowmobiling, and fishing. He was a collector of toy cars and enjoyed showing off his Corvettes at car shows all around. Ron and his wife, Rose, spent many years traveling south to Florida and enjoyed visiting all the amusement parks and beaches it had to offer. Ron and Rose enjoyed camping north at their favorite spots in Jackman and the West Forks with family and friends. Ron loved antiquing and yard-sailing with his dear friend and always made it back to Bath on Fridays for coffee with the guys.

Ron was a character who will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Ron is survived by his children, Herb Ring; Jessie Waterman and her partner, Bob Gryspeerd; Justin Grass; and Zachery Grass and his wife, Sonya. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several wonderful lifelong friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, and his loving wife, Rose Morris.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2026, with a memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, as Ron was a donor for several decades.
