Ronald J. Dubois Sr., 79, of West Pleasant, Westbrook, passed away at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was born in Westbrook, the son of Albert and Bertha (Labrecque) Dubois.  He entered the Air Force and served for many years, serving in Vietnam and Korea.  He later took a job at the Maine Correctional Center where he worked for 22 years before retiring.   Ronald was a Ham Radio operator, building his own equipment.  He was a member of the Rod and Gun Club while living in Alaska, and enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially at his camp in Greenwood. He is survived by his wife Nicole (Marcil) Dubois of Westbrook; three sons, Ronald J. Jr of Windham, Donald R. and wife Sophia of Biddeford, and Daniel R. of Westbrook; a daughter Joann Kuxhausen and husband Kurt of Grand Junction, CO; two sisters, Marcella Richio of Westbrook and Dolores Ferron of Scarborough; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook followed by a reception at the Westbrook Warren Congregational Church.  Interment will be in the spring.  Online condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
