Westbrook- Rodney Elmore Wallace, 84 of Saco St. Westbrook passed away on November 22, 2016. He was born in Portland Maine on Nov 7, 1932, He is the son of Elmore and Grace Wallace. He graduated from Maine School for the Deaf on Spring St. in Portland, June of 1951. He worked at W.H.Nichols Parker Co. for 22 years where he retired from. He also worked 13 years at Universal Wakin Cleaner Co. and 9 years at Pineland Furniture. He was a member of New England Senior Citizens, and was a member of National Fraternity Society of the Deaf, Portland Divison No # 39 and Westbrook Senior Citizen for the deaf. He enjoyed Bowling, Fishing, watching sports, and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved animals especially dogs. He was married for 52 years to his loving wife Henriette. He is predeceased by his parents Grace & Elmore Wallace, his wife Henriette, and a sister Nancy and a son in law Steve Goodine. He is survived by his daughter, Susanne Goodine and a brother Joseph Wallace. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 25th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St. Westbrook. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 10:00 AM, at St. Anthony's Parish.
