Portland – Robin Proulx, 69, of Standish, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, at Maine Medical Center. She lived her entire life in Standish.

Robin was employed by Bill Dodge for many years. In her twenties, she successfully trained and showed her dog, Ghee, in obedience. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, tatting, crocheting, and knitting, and made many beautiful gifts for family and friends. One of her greatest passions was genealogy, and she spent many hours researching in cemeteries and online. Her favorite times were spent enjoying holidays and gatherings with her family.

Robin will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Robin was predeceased by her parents, Earle and Joan, and her brother, Stuart. She is survived by her sisters, Earlene Gagnon and Brenda Proulx; her nieces, Heidi Gagnon McGouldrick and her husband Phil, and Heather Gagnon Delcourt; her nephew, Todd Gagnon and his wife Barbara; her great-nieces, Lauren, Lindsey, Lexie Delcourt, and Grace McGouldrick; and her great-nephews, Zachery McGouldrick, Carter, and Nathan Gagnon.

Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham. Burial will be private.
