Westbrook- Robert G. Luscombe Sr., 90, of Westbrook passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in Machias. The son of Chester and Doris (Hunnewell) Luscombe, he was born in Portland on August 20, 1928. He grew up in Portland and attended Portland schools graduating from Deering High School in 1947. After high school Robert served as a reserve in the National Guards. He worked for the American Can Company, and then became a carpenter working for L.C. Andrews in Windham. He enjoyed hunting with his father when he was young, he also enjoyed going for walks and could often be seen out walking all around Westbrook. He also liked listening to shortwave radio. He will be missed by his long-time extended family of the former Dolley Farm Home in Westbrook. He was predeceased by his son Robert G. Luscombe Jr., and by his sister Laura French. He is survived by his son Daniel Luscombe, and his wife Tracy of Naples, his grandchildren, Jenifer Woods, and Jason Dodge, and his two great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 2-4 PM at the Westbrook Chapel of Dolby, Blais & Segee, 35 Church St. Interment will take place in Black Point Cemetery in Scarborough in the Spring
