Robert "Bob" Comeau, age 69, of Westbrook passed away at home Saturday June 7, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born December 11, 1955, to the late Robert and Florence Comeau. Bob graduated from Saint Dominic Academy in 1973 and went on to attend Central Maine Technical College. He worked for several years at BIW where he learned his trade of metal fabrication. Bob married the love of his life Laura Comeau, née Warner, in 1982 and together they raised three children Daniel, Nicholas, and Julia. Bob loved the water. He enjoyed spending time with his family on their old boat on the lakes of Maine, especially on a memorable trip to Warren Island. Bob is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Florence Comeau and his brother-in-law Philip Atwood. Bob is survived by his loving wife Laura Comeau, children Daniel Comeau, Nicholas Comeau and his wife Alyssa Bourgeois, and Julia Comeau and her partner Jeff Mercer, grandchildren Morgan Weeks, Sebastian and Clarence, and sisters Constance Comeau, Colette Atwood, and Cecile Kirk and her husband Terry Kirk. There will be a Graveside Service held on Saturday June 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery located at 158 Pleasant Hill Rd, Sabattus, ME 04280.
