Obituary

GORHAM—Robert Anthony Ferrar, 68, passed away on November 11, 2017 after a lengthy illness. He was born in Portland, Maine on June 25, 1949, the eldest son of Harold and Arlene (Campbell) Ferrar. Bob grew up in Portland and attended school locally. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict where he was stationed in Germany. On July 27, 1975, he married Pamela Kirkpatrick and together they raised their family in Gorham and Portland. Bob was "jack of all trades", there was nothing on this Earth he could not fix. Bob will be remembered as a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. To Bob, his friends and family were his whole life. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela Ferrar; daughters, Angela Stahl and her husband David, Mandy Ferrar, and Delia Seavey; six grandchildren, Kara Stahl, Shannon Stahl, Brandon Kovats, Gianna Bent, Zeke Villarreal, and Maximus Seavey; many brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. A period of visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 15, from 6pm to 8pm at The Windham Chapel of Dolby Blais & Segee, 434 River Road, Windham, ME 04062. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16th at 1pm at the funeral chapel. Following the service, the family invites you to a gathering at the North Scarborough Grange Hall, 74 County Road, Route 22, Scarborough, ME 04074. Per Bob's request, feel free to "come as you are," in comfortable, casual attire.
