Robert P. Deshaies 82 of Gorham, passed away on Friday, February 03, 2017. Robert was born and raised in Westbrook, the son of Maurice and Olive (Bergeron) Deshaies. Robert worked for Maria's Restaurant which started in Westbrook before moving to Portland for 37 years. He was an organist, and had a passion and love for music. Robert was predeceased by his parents, his siblings, Jeanette Cotton, Raymond Deshaies, and Loretta Panarese. He is survived by his brother Maurice and his wife Joan Deshaies, as well his niece Michelle and husband Tim Wolf of Gypsum, CO., and nephew Mark and wife Stephanie Deshaies of Standish. A memorial mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 6th at St. Anthony's Parish. Interment will be held in the spring.
