GORHAM - Robert John Allenwood, 68, of Gorham died August 15, 2016 after bravely battling a long term illness. Bob was a decorated Army veteran, having served in the Vietnam War and later served his country stationed in Germany before retiring from the military in 1993. He went to work as a Corrections Officer with the Maine Department of Corrections, until his retirement.
