Hollis – Richard Donald Pierce "Dick" 71 of Hollis, Passed away on September 21, 2014 with his wife Susan Pierce by his side.  He lost his battle to cancer. His brother Kenny & Wife Lorraine Pierce of Florida has been by his side for the last three months.  Dick was born to the late Alton & Diana Pierce on Dec.30,1942 in Westbrook.  He served in the navy for four years, retired after 25 yrs as a turbine operator at S.D.Warren Co.  He loved playing cards & horseshoes with family and friends. Hunting trips with his boys & brother Kenny.  Dick is survived by his children Richard Pierce Jr. of Westbrook, Roxanne Robinson of Gorham, Rosanne Thatcher of So. Carolina &  Robert Pierce of Gorham. Wife of seventeen yrs. Susan Pierce stepchildren Keith Kimball ,Tracy Hanna, Michelle & David Kimball. Grandchildren Sara Contente, Missy Evans, Kurtis Thatcher, Devin Locke, Dakota & Zachary Pierce, Liam Kimball & Spencer Pierce.  Great-Grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Luna & Samuel.                                                                         There will be no services.  In lieu of flowers the family request that all donation be made to Hospice of Southern Maine.  Online condolences can be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com
