Richard Anthony Harmon Sr., was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Monday, December 8, 2014. He was born in Portland, ME the son of Donald and Mary Rose (Custeau) Harmon.  Richard worked as a Department Manager at the S.D. Warren Paper Company where he helped develop new bio mass systems. He was actively involved and lived life to the fullest, whether it was coaching Little League baseball or helping the Marching Band Boosters.  As a leader in his church Richard led the Angel Food Ministry and free pancake breakfast for the homeless.  Richard was loved by his many family and friends and spent the last 10 years of his life serving God. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Harmon; his three children Jennifer and her husband Keith Parry, Angela Turkewitz Farr and husband Dan, and Tony Harmon and his wife Angela.  He adored his nine grandchildren and one great grandchild along with his many wonderful family and friends. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 6 PM Tuesday, Dec. 16th, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, Dec. 17th.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook and followed by a reception at the Park Ave. Church of God in Portland.  On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
