WESTBROOK—Richard "Rick" Allen Crabtree, 51, died at Maine Medical Center on December 13, 2016. Rick was born on January 4, 1965, a son of Roy Crabtree Jr. and Gladys Babbidge. He grew up in Westbrook and attended local schools. He married Heather K. Lamb on February 23, 1991 and together they made their home in Westbrook. Rick was passionate about cars, and enjoyed working on hot rods. Rick would often be found tinkering in the garage while socializing with friends. He was an animal lover and will be remembered for his quick ability to help others. Rick is survived by his wife, Heather Crabtree; mother, Gladys Wood and her husband Bruce; three brothers, two sisters; and his best friend, Don Desjardins and his wife Joanne.
