Richard E. Brume, 84 of Winter Haven, FL, passed away on July 19th, 2022. He was born in Portland, ME on September 25th, 1937, to Burleigh and Nettie (Foster) Brume. Richard grew up Windham, ME where he attended Windham schools and met the love of his life his Patricia Ann Bishop. They were married on September 4th, 1954, and resided on 115 in Windham until they became permanent residents of Florida in 2014. Richard was a jack of all trades and an active member of the community and Windham Assembly of God. Life accomplishments included volunteer firefighter, Chief of Police in Windham, town Selectman, janitor of local schools, carpenter, Maine Turnpike, and the proud owner of Dick and Pat's Variety. Richard was predeceased by his parents, son Richard E. Brume, Jr., and brother Robert E. Brume. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patricia, daughters Dianne Harriman of Naples, ME, Donna and husband Gaylon Yeaton of Winter Haven, FL, and Julie and husband Alan Carr of Albany Twp, ME. Grandchildren Timothy Harriman of CT, Christopher Yeaton of FL, Ashley and husband Joe Callahan of Windham, and Alana and Jacob Carr of Albany Twp. Great-grandchildren Matthew and Riri Harriman of NY, Addison, Caeden and Brynn Callahan of Windham. Sister Eleanor and husband Cecil Wheeler of Auburn and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, July 28th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Dolby, Blais & Segee 434 River Rd., Windham. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 29th at 11am at Dolby, Blais & Segee with a graveside service on Sunday, July 31st at 11am at Arlington Cemetery in North Windham.
