Rhoda M. (Daley) Leroux, 89, of Westbrook, passed away Saturday, November 01, 2014 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born Oct. 30, 1925 in Westbrook, the daughter of Henry and Marie (Culligan) Daley. Mrs. Leroux was a member of St. Mary's Parish for 41 years and a member of the American Legion Aux. Post 97. Mrs. Leroux was known for her beautiful knitting, crafts, and poetry. Her husband Gerard (Jay) passed away Sept. 9, 1969. Surviving are two sons, Jay G of West Buxton and Dale L. of Westbrook; a brother Armand Daley and a sister Katherine Shannon, both of Westbrook; four granddaughters, Michelle MacDougall, Jamie Leroux, Amanda Lane, and Diana Leroux; two great grandsons, Lucas and Evin Lane; and 18 nieces and nephews. There will be no memorial service at Mrs. Leroux's request. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Hyacinth Cemetery.
