Portland, Renoir Jameson LaPointe, 35, of Congress St., Portland, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 at his home. He was born in Tallahassee, FL, the son of James and Anne Marie (Dugas) LaPointe. Renoir was raised in Westbrook and attended Westbrook High School. He worked in the restaurant business, most recently at Rosie's in Portland. Renoir enjoyed rappelling and paintball when he was younger and more recently found great joy in artwork and drawing. He is survived by his fiancé Courtney Gradie of Portland; father and stepmother James and Kerry LaPointe of Westbrook; mother and stepfather Anne and Michael Knight of Westbrook; a son Lucas LaPointe; daughters Lilly LaPointe and Kaydence Peterson; a sister Aimee Rose Huff and her husband James; a half-brother Bobby Swan; half-sister Jamie Swan; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 26, at Blais & Hay Funeral Home, 35 Church St., Westbrook. On line condolences may be expressed at blaisandhayfuneralhome.com.
