In Loving Memory of Raymond Albert Levesque "Ray" who passed away on April 18th, 2023. He was born on September 5th,1943, to Jean and Albert Levesque in Lewiston, Maine. At a young age Ray enlisted in the Navy. When he returned home to his family, he was eager to marry and start a family of his own which would include his daughters Jean P. Levesque and Dianna R. Levesque. He owned Ray's Masonry and was well known for his quality work which included work on Maine Medical Center and Fort Williams. Many will remember his company slogan. When he retired, he found a passion for woodworking and playing golf. He was a longtime member of River Meadow and then Sunset Ridge where he looked forward to playing the weekly matches for quarters with his close friends. Retirement also allowed him more time to spend with his two daughters and their families, which included 7 grandchildren known by their Papa as "The Goon Patoon": Megan, Kayla, Mitchell, Joelle, Nicole, Nicholas, and Caitlyn and 13 great grandchildren who enjoyed their time with him and will miss him tremendously. He was a long-time member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and a lifetime member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. Many will remember Ray for his creativity and smile but mostly as a prankster. He loved nothing more than to play a good practical joke on anyone he was around. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Georgette Bolduc and Paulette Cram. He will be deeply missed by his remaining family including his two daughters, their families, his sisters Dianne Levesque and Jolene Thiboutot, along with many family and friends.
