Westbrook - Raymond Goozey, 83, of Chestnut St., passed away on Monday November 11, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice Center in Scarborough. Raymond was born in Westbrook the son of Ambrose and Blanche ( Lamirande) Goozey. He was raised, educated, and lived his entire life in Westbrook. Raymond was a member of the United States Air Force where he served in the 24th Bomb Squadron, the 6th bomb wing, 8th Air force. After his time in the service, Raymond worked at Dana Warp Mill and the S.D Warren paper mill for 32 years. Raymond was also a member of the Westbrook City Council for 6 years. Raymond is survived by his wife Dolores of Westbrook, his two sons, David and Steven Goozey both of Westbrook, two daughters, Kathy Jensen of Westbrook and Cecile Herlihy of St. Louis, MO. 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday November 15, at 2 pm at Brooklawn Memorial Park.
